Will Sonoma Valley High School Fence cut off bike path?

For anyone who has followed our bike-path sagas in Sonoma, you know that the city council finally voted to "take our disconnect and connect it" by building the bridge over Fryer Creek at Newcomb Street (see place-mark 1 on attached image). Now the school board is building a fence behind the high school (see red line on attached map).

We're not sure what this will mean about the bike path that connects Denmark Street to Newcomb Street and traverses the border between the high school and middle school. We also don't know if this fence will be extended to include the back of the middle school. It would be a real shame if the school district effectively disconnected our community once again.

We're going to need to watch this but I'm also not sure what we can do as the schools are seldom constrained by local ordinances.
